This was commissioned painting by a mother who wanted to give her daughter a painting. In essence to capture the bond between her daughter and grand daughter, for Christmas.
The little girl was born with a hole in her heart and knows only the ICU hospital life. She wasn't expected to live and has amazed doctors and nurses. She is now 2 years old and has recently underwent surgery for a cleft lip.
The little girls mother is also a diabetic and over these past two stressful years she has lost a lot of weight. Her routine every day is to visit and be there to console her daughter in the hospital.
The little girl will need more operations as she grows.
Prayers and healing are required for these two. Their life's journey for now are Hearts Held Dear.
Many thanks to the following groups for featuring, "Hearts Held Dear;"
