I painted this from a photo I took of a home down the road from me. With my camera in hand I came upon this beautiful contrast of colors, the old, the new (relatively new deck) and a quaint old stool. I love this setting and conjured in my mind, many fictional stories that could be told and perhaps even believed.

Many thanks for featuring my painting to the following groups: No Place Like Home, Old Masters - Painted the old way, Created by my hands, and Wisconsin Flower and Scenery Group.
