Years ago, some co-workers and I were stationed in New Brunswick to work on an IT project for Irving Oil. As we were all miles from home we decided to take advantage of the nice fall weekend day and do a whale tour. On the tour we enjoyed the clam chowder soup, the sightings of birds and dolphins. As if by magic, we came upon a pod of Humbback whales of all sizes. We were ecstatic to say the least! As the time to end the tour came closer we reluctantly had bid farewell. As if on cue, the biggest whale breached then with a wave bid us ado! This image was painted to capture this memory in a symbolic and simplistic illustration. What a gift!
