Artist's Description
This tree stands just outside my patio window. Everyday I am witness to it's grandeur beauty of seasons, animal activity from birds, chipmunks and the few squirrels.
Legend claims that these oak trees were planted by our first nation people who came and slept for the night. For thankfulness to the creator for a restful night they would plant an acorn. Thus, the reason why we have an oak tree standing.
This image was also used as a study for my art class. So interesting to see all of the painting images! All masterpieces in their own right.
