Within walking distance from the Canadian National Railway station that transports people and cargo to the town of Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, lays an inn called the Iceberg Inn. People from many countries, many cultures and many religious backgrounds have ventured to Churchill to experience Canada's north of dog sledding, polar bears, beluga whales, and the infamous northern lights. It is proclaimed that only in Churchill, in February, can you experience the most wonderous northern lights sights.
The Iceberg Inn is a comfortable inn that provides sleeping comfort at a reasonable price and although it doesn't boast of this, it is a place where you just may find a new friend.
This painting was commissioned to me by the Iceberg Inn's owner, Bill Yong, who loves art not only on the outside of the his building (that I've captured in this painting) but he has many paintings displayed within his building as well.
