A Great Horned Owl perched on a layer of rocks took time to rest as well as catch a glimpse of his next prey. Ever watchful and and ever on guard for its enemies, this owl was a sight to behold even for the short minute it was in my view. Many thanks to Paintings and Wildlife for your recognition.
