There is a cabin, down the lane, that has the most welcoming blue door.. The cabin speaks of a time gone by where the grass was cut, the walls echoed music and laughter and floors creaked of dances.. Now it sits, and waits for it's next occupants to bring life and a melody back into it's timbers.
Recently I did a show and I displayed this painting. One couple shared with me that there is a town in Europe where many of the home owners have painted their door blue. The belief being, that angels are attracted to the color blue therefore if your door is blue, they shall enter in.
