Description
On a Saturday fall afternoon, we went on an excursion and came upon this lone boat resting on the shoreline at Pelican Harbour. Pelican Harbour is a gated community east, on the Lake Winnipeg and north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The gate closes at 10:00 pm so we had ample time to explore its many trails.
The water level was low, which revealed the rocky white shell shoreline which depicts the terrain of these parts. To capture this picturesque scene topped the day!
Many thanks to the following groups for featuring my painting: Just Perfect, No Place Like Home, Wisconsin Scenery and Paintings, Painted the Old Way, Water forms and Created by my hands.

I really like this landscape painting, Marilyn. The movement in the water is quite nice. Your trees read so realistically that I can almost hear the breeze throught them. f/l
