Description
The Keel-billed Toucan, also known as sulfur-breasted toucan or rainbow-billed toucan, is a colorful Latin American member of the toucan family. It is the national bird of Belize but this Keel-billed toucan was located in the Panama City Zoo. I have been trying for years to capture this exquisite bird to paint, and to my delight he posed very patiently for me. Such a colorful beautiful bird!

Thanks so much Bob for your comments and recognition! Funny story.. I was so excited when I captured this image on my camera that I wasn't looking where I was going and fell flat on my face on the sidewalk. I gained attention of everyone around to my embarrassment! I was bruised and scraped for weeks .Just another confirmation that I'm a painter not a photographer! But I got the shot and now viola, I have the painting..!! LOL
